Elysium is a double-pavilion home positioned to overlook Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island. Designed & built by our in-house team, this generational retreat is a place to gather, entertain, and connect. The two pavilions are split across the natural contours of the site, creating zones that hold a family of four with ease and a group of twelve without compromise. Passive design principles drive the orientation - the home turns toward the northern aspect, drawing in winter sun and framing 180-degree views across the undulating landscape and rugged coast, while deep eaves and a protected alfresco shelter it from the prevailing winds.

Materially, the home offers warmth through natural materials and a palette sensitive to its landscape. Limestone flooring carries from inside to outside, creating a seamless threshold between living spaces and the landscape. Timber is used through joinery, cladding & ceiling linings - chosen for its warmth, its tactility, and the way it will naturally age & soften over time. Internally, the spaces flow between expansive and intimate - a large kitchen anchoring the living and dining pavilion, two master suites bookend the home, and a quiet retreat lounge offers counterpoint to the main living spaces.
